Our new front-loading washing machine spins evenly without vibration when there are no clothes in it. When we wash a load, if the clothes are even slightly out of balance the machine vibrates and it is transmitted to the floor, which cause that area of our home to vibrate quite noticeably. Is there any type of external suspension systems available for appliances?

it depends on what you call "quite noticeably" here in the UK 99% of us have front loaders and yes they are not as vibration free as top loaders.

You could also try to "mix" what you put in it, do not for example put all big / heavy items in (some big some small)

Weigh the items before you wash them (i am being serious) this is so that you do not overload it, the manual will tell you how much weight is safe to wash (its considerably less than a top loader can wash)

You could make sure that the machine is stable when doing nothing

you could try putting the machine on a solid floor

or if it is THAT bad call a washing machine engineer (from company who built it) assuming you have done all the above first

Have you made sure you have the feet all set to make it level on the floor?

Also you need to have a little bit of room all around it or it will knock against whatever it is next to and make it sound worse.
