Morning all

I need some advice, our washing machine is bouncing around a bit on the floor in our kitchen. We're in a rented flat, the previous washing machine leaked and damaged the floor behind the machine. We've put ours in (it's been in for nearly 2 years now) but the floor isn't good and the machine sometimes bounces around on the floor.

What can we do? We're not too keen on bothering the landlord, although our machine has been fine we don't want him to think our machine has leaked and damaged the floor - giving him a reason to charge us.

I was thinking about cutting out a piece of thick ply to sit in the location where the machine is located, and levelling that off. Would that be any good?

Any suggestions welcomed... at the moment it is spinning fine but if the load goes out of balance it can reorganise our fridge and sound as if it is coming through the wall into our living room :(

Cheers
