I am wondering if anyone can help me with a problem that the washing machine as developed this afternoon. It is an Hotpoint WF240 and the problem seems to be that when you select a program it just goes straight to illuminate the wash display and there it stays, No movement in the drum, no filling of the drum the light for the door locked doesnt even come on ( in sequence). Looking at it now when you chose which program you want the " door locked " light doesnt come on, i am assuming this could be the problem as without this the machine will not fill/spin?. If so does that mean either a sensor as gone or the circuit board.

are these easy to change on this particular model rocks1 ?. Could i possible do this or would you suggest getting in a repair man?. Also I dont suppose anyway has a schematic for this model, the manual you get with this product doesnt display the internal mechanism.
