So I have a 4" x 2" frame for shower tray. I'm thinking of having the edge of the frame accessible for future disasters. Also cut out access where the shower waste will fall into soil pipe. Can anyone see a problem doing it like this? I'll still have some noggins inserted around the waste pipe.
Thanks in advance.

None at all, if you put a nice WBP/OSB3 top onto that it'll be spot on, just check you have enough height to get the trap in once the top's on. Are you going to tank the space?
