Would most people use solvent or push fit in this situation?

Certainly not push fit - or “pull apart” as I prefer to call it. I once managed to pull apart a below-floor waste fitting under a bathroom pedestal basin while trying to clean, and discovered what I’d done when I found water coming out of the downstairs ceiling light fitting.
Thanks if I use solvent I will have to get the pipes through to the shower tray then pipe up when fit the tray. I would have to use two solvent 45s
Never use it anywhere, ever. I'd use McAlpine compression before I'd ever use push fit.
