waste pipes

Hi,
Can you tell me if its possible to buy some kind of cap to cap of an old waste pipe. Basically we have a bathroom that is getting removed which the soil pipe and waste pipe join the exterior of the house into a large soil pipe which also has feeds from the 2nd bathroom.
When i remove the waste pipe and soil pipe from the main pipe outside i will have the holes to cover is it possible to buy somekind of plastic caps to cap the holes off. I hope this make sense.

what i did was shove an old sock in the end and duck taped over it to seal it, works a treat, and cheaper. i obviously charged the customer for posh new top of the range gold plated caps too
