We have upvc patio doors fitted onto a small balcony on the 1st floor. We have found that when it is windy and raining water is coming in from somewhere and travelling down the cavity and wetting the ceilings of the floor below.
I have checked all seals around the door and they are fine, but I did notice that the internal frame has holes cut out for drainage, but I don't know where the water that gets in here would go (or how it gets in there in the first place), as the door frames are completely sealed in with silicone. Should there be holes for this water to escape or should one of these seals (around frame) not be sealed at all?
Greatly appreciate anyones help.
