We have a borehole with an expansion vessel. I have asked before on here and nothing has come of it. I thought I have resolved it, but that was for a short while. Its a vessel with a bladder in it, I have taken it out and checked it over and then put it back together again it worked great for a week or so then went back down hill by spitting and spatting quite badly. I have taken air out and put air in and its frustrated me not being able to get to the bottom of it. I have no more ideas of where to go from here.

I have looked high and low on the internet for information and there seems very little that could help me. Only one suggestion which seemed crazy about having methane in the system. That I doubt! Any way all info seems to be in America and not this country, the companies are not very helpful, in fact they don't reply. They just want to sell you a new one, which is the course of todays society.

Any help please...

Thanks

Tony

The air pressure in the bladder is meant to reduce the cycling of the pumpset and act as a buffer between the pump and the distribution pipework.

The air/nitrogen pressure in the bladder will be specified by the pumpset manufacturer. If the air pressure is dropping then you need a new bladder or expansion vessel. Unless you are good with a puncture repair kit

If you don't fix it a new pump will be what you need next.....

Thank you once again

Tony
