Hello All,
Daft question here..
After injecting Sentinel into an indirect heating system, would it be worth draining some water from the header tank up in the loft afterwards? (I was thinking of excess pressure on the ball cock valve by the float) I realise the level wouldn't go up much with 0.4 litres of sentinel introduced via the rad.

no need

but

have a look in the F&E. If there is mud at the bottom, or mould on the top, bale it out into a bucket to prevent it running down into the system. Tie up the ball cock while you work. use a sponge to remove the remnants. If it does not have a lid to keep dirt out, buy or make one.

Ahh right thanks ! The guys who fitted the system didn't put one on but i bought one straight away after inspecting their handywork
