Water mark on wall

Hi

I just noticed in my front bedroom in the corner near the window that there is water marks on the wall. Also noticed on the roof it has like dired out water marks.

It right on the corner of the house. Outside is the pipe end but it flows back towards the back of the house where it then goes into drain.

What can i check?

I bought the house 2 months ago i think the survey people did a damp test but nothing came out of it ? but dont think this is damp

Any advice would be appreciated

could be lots of things

bad ventilation in attic

leak in roof running down timbers to that point

guttering full of crud /or slopping the wrong way thus unable to shed water from heavy rain

felt needs replacing at the bottom into the gutter

have a look and see

will check! in regards to the felt will that just be worn or broken etc???

will check in the attic really tight spot but will give it a go!

will let you know what i find.

if its ventilation what would need to be done?

think cos of the heavy rain it might have caused something with the gutters overflowing.
