Could someone who knows about water meters please help. Is it possible for my neighbour to have connected his water supply to my meter, so that I am paying for both my water and his.
Thanks!

Turn your inside stopcock off and record the reading, go back several hours later and see if it's moved, you could have a leak or the neighbour could be using it.

Even better - turn off the stopcock at the water meter and see if he complains about lack of water.
