Can anyone advise how to find/access the water pressure gauge on a ProTherm GlowWorm Ultimate 50 boiler?

No, unless it's a variant of the Ultimate that I'm not aware of, because it doesn't have one. It is not a pressurised system boiler, but is fed from a small tank usually in the loft which is always kept topped up from the cold main water supply, so it does not need manually pressurising.

Occasionally, non system boilers are connected to a separate pressure vessel instead of a feed tank. If this is the case, the gauge will be with the pressure vessel.

Got you - thanks. So what would the normal process be for draining the system (without it automatically filling back up) in order to add a new radiator?

Turn off the cold mains water supply that supplies the feed and expansion tank to stop it filling up. Attach a hose pipe to the drain off point that runs to a drain, open the drain off valve and allow the heating system to drain.

The feed and expansion tank may have its own isolation valve on its cold water inlet pipe, others have a valve where the pipe enters the roof space. Failing that the main cold water stopcock.
