I am refitting my bathroom and using a single lever mixer tap for the wash basin. A bath / shower mixer, and a seperate aqualisa shower.
The hot water is from a mulit point boiler.
I am told that the hot & cold to all of the taps & showers should be of equal pressure.
My cold water pressure is 7bar and I guess that the hot from the multi point will be less (I will check this)
What is the best way to equalise the pressures. I have seen a single pressure reducing valve, which I could use on the cold, or an equalising valve that is fitted to both hot & cold (but I would need 3 of these)
If I use a reducing valve on the cold, is it best to fit it close to the stop tap and reduce pressure to the whole house, or is it best to fit it up stairs only.
Is it necessary to fit these at all?
