Apologies if I've posted on the wrong forum. Spoke to a customer today who requested that I paid a visit to her house. She had a washing machine delivered by Currys the other day. Upon delivery she was told that they would not plumb it in due to the waste pipework being too long as published in the Water Regulations.

I wasn't aware of any maximum length for waste pipework for an appliance such as a washing machine. Is anyone able to educate me further on this?
