Water supply pipe entry through floor slab

Would there be an issue if I run the water supply pipe inside a down pipe, where it enters the building and then through a bend up into the new floor. The idea is to be able to replace the pipe in future without having to damage the floor.

Would there be an issue with doing this?

There would be no issue with this. There are ducts available for this very purpose. These come with insulation fitted too.
