Water to Grout Ratio

Hi All

I've been trawling the web/forum trying to find a definitive answer on this topic ... is there a water to grout ratio ??

Most feedback I have had is just mix it like cake mix.

Which is good for the trained eye (never baked a cake so wouldn't know that either) but for the inexperienced is there a set formula that one can follow ??

There are always instructions on the packet, follow the instructions . If it’s too thin it will run out of the gaps, if it’s too thick you won’t be able to get it in the gaps. You don’t need a formula, mix a little up & have a go, you will soon realise if you’ve got the consistency right or not.
