I think this topic has probably been thrashed over the years:
I've looked through the forums but I can't find a definitive answer or a reccommended product.
I've sussed that some kinda vinyl/plastic wall covering will probably be the best to make a shower enclosure waterproof, but I'd prefer tiles.
On ripping out my old ensuite the water damage was terrible. I really don't want that to happen again.
I have boarded around the shower area with cement/concrete board. Probably OTT but I'm like that. The shower area (plus some) will be tanked with one of those kits.
I'd like to tile the area with some 100% waterproof adhesive and finish off with 100% waterproof grout. We have decided to go for black grout so any staining etc will hardly be noticed and future maintenance will be minimal,
My question is:
Can someone please reccommend some good waterproof adhesive and grout?
