We recently moved into a new house with an extension the builder who previously owned it did last year. Our removal company didn't connect the washing machine properly and only this week have I discovered it's been leaking for the 2 months we've been here :(

I mopped up the water and have removed the tiles in the utility room, they are sopping wet, it's just concrete underneath. The tiles also extend into the hall and where the water has gone underneath, the utility door is catching on them. When you stand on the tiles you can hear the water squelch.

Hubby wants to just let the floor and tiles dry out and put them back in the utility room, then do the same for the hall but I'm not sure putting those tiles back is the right thing to do really?

Thanks
