Hi all,
I have a lightwell in my basement, and I've ordered a glass access hatch over it, with trickle vents.
I'm going to build a brick upstand about 150mm/2 bricks high to 3 sides of the lightwell.
The 3rd side is against a wall, so I will fix a batten on here so the rooflight kerb has something to fix to on all sides.
Can anyone recommend best way of waterproofing between the brick/timber upstand and the rooflight kerb?
I was think some membrane I've the timber dressed up the wall, overlapping a membrane to the top of the brick kerb.
Any advice much appreciated
