Hi all,

I have an awning over the patio. It's a fixed wooden frame with perspex sheeting. The sheets are drilled and bolted though to the wooden frame. This is allowing water ingress. I'm looking for advice on how best to cure this, please?

With sheet roofing you would normally use roofing screws eg https://www.screwfix.com/c/screws-nails-fixings/roofing-screws/cat840056 but with dead flat sheets and presumably some long seams between the sheets you'll always be up against it, you could consider adding a splodge of silicone to each fixing as you go, that may help. There's a reason that roofing panels are corrugated.
