either put him in the oven, or put a bit of string in his beak and tell everyone he is doing a candle impression
He has probably groomed it all off by now with his beak.
Best not to use any kind of cleaning material or solvent as he might swallow it or it could damage his skin (for example, white spirit will irritate even thick human skin if not wiped off quickly)
