Waxing White Oak Hand rail/baluxtrade ?

Just had my stairs hand rail and landing balustrade replaced in white oak.

I am looking fro advice on products etc to wax it. I want to enhance the natural wood colour not stain it etc.

Is waxing the best thing fro a high wear area like a hand rail? It appears easy and fairly quick to do and easy to maintain.

The nice thing about waxing a handrail is that people will do the buffing for you

You need to use a sanding sealer first or you will be at it all day long.
