Attending this boiler today. Loss of system water (down to zero in 2 hours), nil signs of loss underfloor or the discharge pipe. My suspicion is boiler loss to condensate pipe same as Ideal Logics do sometimes

How wide am I off the mark?

TIA

Dan

Is the pressure drop whilst boiler is operation, I would be tempted to pressurise then lock both flow and return off and see if it pressure loss at the boiler or if it is actually pipework/rads.
It could be the pressure relief valve is letting water pass.

Probably spot on, pretty common one. I usually slide the trap off and leave a container underneath. A drop like that should show itself while-u-wait.

If you take the heat ex front plate of you can sometimes see it spraying out or make sure boiler is stone cold then dry sump internally and pressurise to 2.5 bar if sump gets wet its the heat ex knackered
