Hi, I installed a new wc and cistern a couple of months ago and have noticed that when the toilet is flushed the force of the water coming into the pan causing splashing out of the towl.

Is there usually a setting on the cistern that can control how quick the water is forced into the bowl ?

Thanks

You could try lowering the water level. Experiment a bit until you get the flush right. :D

Hi

Close coupled or high level cistern?
High level ones have a plastic 'propeller ' that fits in the back of the pan, before the flush pipe goes in, to reduce the flow a bit.

Close coupled ... maybe a poor casting or just poor quality?

Thanet.
