Hi All,

I'm in the process of doing up my en suite however I'm having some some teething issues with my new WC.

I'm using a macalpine Mac-8 from the soil pipe, and whilst it appears to couple onto the WC OK when I push the WC back against the wall, it clearly isn't as after a while I notice a small pool of water on the tiles. I'm thinking the mac 8 just doesn't have enough reach to seal around the WC outlet, but it must only be by a baw hair.

Is there something I can add in to give it some more reach, or a new replacement part all together?

I've attached some pics for context, but they probably don't tell you too much.

Is the pan exit spigot round as a lot are oval, therefore if the spigot is too far in the connector they don`t seal properly.

Is the connector sitting at an angle or is it just the pic? Put your hand in and feel around the edge of the connector, it should fit tight up onto the spigot, if there's a significant gap between the end of the pan connector 's nose and the body of the toilet, then it's not fitting far enough onto the spigot.

You may need an extended nose pan connector.
