How much of a problem is it to have a WC near a service head?

I'd like to get the fuse upgraded and possibly have the meter changed but we have a WC in the cloakroom where the elec equipment is situated.

I've had sparks doing work there without complaints but I gather that DNO people can be a bit picky.

Am I likely to encounter problems when they come down?

Thank you.

could you enclose the metering etc in a cabinet, that should satisfy them, had a similar problem in my last house, put a cabinet in with a latch on it and they went ahead and did the work.
It was ao old terraced house and metering came into bathroom they wouldnt touch anything until i had built cabinet to house everything.

thats a bit harsh.
If electricians working to BS standards and Part P requirements do not object why should a DNO do so?

I thought the issue would be with a washbasin or shower.

I guess any excuse is good enough for them to refuse work in a customer's house.

I wonder if I requested a service head move at the cost of 500 quid plus what the reaction would be...
