I have a leak form the seal between my pan and pan connector. I used plumbers mait a few months ago which helped but it is leaking again so I want to replace the pan connector.
I was looking this morning and I'm not sure which type of joint I have. I was expecting to see the pan connector going in to a waste pipe but it looks like it goes directly in to the socket of the downpipe. I have attached a picture.
Do I need to get a pan connector without rubber seal on one end so that it goes directly in to the socket on the downpipe? As the downpipe socket is designed to accept 110mm pipe and a pan connector is designed to go inside a 110 mm pipe, I am worried that the standard pan connector will be too loose in the socket. Can anyone suggest what is fitted at the moment?
Thanks
