Pan connector problems with concealed WC frame

Hi. I have recently done a bathroom refit and installed an Abacus wall hung WC frame and toilet.

I'm having a problem where the pan connector seems like a poor design and leaks. When connecting to the WC off the wall to test, the seal seems really poor.

The abacus comes with a 90deg elbow for connecting to the soil pipe but reduces to 3.5" for their pan connector. I can't find any alternatives for this size.

A bought a 4" McApline pan connector and it seems a far better seal. Would something like this work to reduce down to 3.5" to enter the abacus frame? https://thepvcshop.com/products/metric-reducing-socket-plain

Thanks

Can you show us what you have? Perhaps it will be possible to modify their pan connector with the seal from the m alpine etc

See attached. Black connector is the original Abacus and the white is the McAlpine. Connection into frame is 90mm push fit.

Thanks

Do you know which part leaks ? (Toilet to coupler or coupler to wall pipe?)

If it's leaking at the spigot connector end and the 4" Mcalpine is fine then go looking for a 90mm (31/2") ended adjustable extension piece to step it down

Have you got a part in mind, ideally something I can find at a local plumbers merchant?

You can use the cut down extension for the connector you already have - (pic1) or use a MacFit standard pan connector with a 31/2" outlet (pic2).

These are used for connection to older 31/2" cast etc
