wd420-1200, starts but then stops

Hi there,

I've just moved into a new flat and I've got the aquarius wd420-1200 spin washer/dryer

we're trying to make it work but when we select the program and put start, it starts to get some water but not a lot, and after a little while stops..
we unplugged it after 15 minutes of nothing... and tried again, and the same happened.. the clothes inside are a little wet but not really wet, also it's spinning a little not how it should be...
we put the time saver option.. and then just a normal program...

any ideas please?

Plenty of videos on you tube. Motor down the bottom at the back remove rear White cover and 2 motor bolts 13 mm. Brushes on the side of motor.

it actually started after the second attempt (don't ask why)

but it's good to know about the brushes
