For a boxed in (3 wall + shower door) type shower, would something like a tiling backer board, eg wedi board, be better/easier/cheaper than plasterboard and WP1 tanking?
As you can get wedi board in 12.5mm, if I can use this and not tank then might work out better or cheaper for the same effect?
Also, I understand that should bring say plasterboard to around 3mm off top of tray, but if did use WP1 - should I then run the tape along the bottom or PB and onto top of tray or ???
As my gap for shower tray is around 780/785 with no PB up - so measure to studs I was thinking of putting one of the walls all the way to the floor - is this a definate NO NO?
