Hi
I am about to start on recovering an overgrown garden of which part is going to be bark chips and part gravel.I have already put down Round up to kill everything. It will then be rotovated and levelled.
Can somebody advise on which type of membrane to put down before the chips & gravel.
Thanks.
Oh it's about 200 sq/m

You do realise that if you rotovated (good thing) you will have stirred up the dormant seeds from over the last seven years ( bad thing). Give it a week or two and go round with the round up again, then get the thickest weed barrier you can ( it does come in different grades). If you have a difficult "patch" why not do what I did and put a really cheap pond liner down, when you want to plant, cut a hole out and then start piercing through it in a regular pattern with a fork (ours is under gravel), good idea if the hose pipe bans come off this year ( and your plants love moisture).
