Hi all
Wasnt sure if wood work or doors and windows so sorry if the wrong forum.

We have recently purchased some wooden internal bi fold doors with a track and frame kit. the doors are top hung. I need to speak to the supplier tomorrow as the track states 40kg and each door of the 3 doors is 25kg (sold as a package)

But while I'm waiting for that, the opening has a steel lintel above, should I be fixing the frame into the lintel through the plasterboard or simply fixed into the plasterboard at the top and into the brick at the sides be sufficient?

Thanks in advance

When I purchased them I (perhaps wrongly) assumed the weight of the doors would be taken by the frame (the pictures show a chunky frame but some of that is cladding). Its only when they arrived this weekend and felt the weight of the doors I started to question..

I am calling the suppliers tomorrow for some advise as instructions aren't clear.

Attached is a picture of the frame
