I hate the stuff but we had to draw the line somewhere - it's one of the few things that wasn't knackered!

Sometime in the past in my 1910 house someone has spent a lot of money doing artex ceilings and coving in the main bedroom and living room (its only a 2 up 2 down). I gave it a lick of silk brilliant white and it looks a treat. A nice sheen. I wouldn't have chosen it but it looks fine. Plus I know it is covering up old plaster and laths which would be a nightmare to disturb . . .
