We have a wet patch on our outer-building concrete floor. It is not coming from above. We are having this area of floor levelled so we can lay laminate flooring. My question is; Can we use some kind of sealant over the new base which would act as a damp-proofer? This is our 'junk' area, ie. Garden Tools, Power Tools, Brooms, Mops, Hoover, Ironing Board etc etc so no furniture but I just want to prevent this wet from spreading if possible.
