Hi Everyone,

I've recently started redecorating my bathroom and would very much like to change the floor colour as it's a horrid yellowy white (like heavily tobacco stained white; not nice) and I was wondering if there is such thing as a tile paint for floors that would be suitable for such a task. Any thoughts please? Obviously it needs to be both waterproof and ideally won't make the area any more slippery. Any other ideas that do not involve retiling would be gratefully received!

Cheers :)

I've never seen tiles that stain. Have you tried bleaching them?

Hi, thanks for your reply. Sorry, I should've clarified that they're not stained, that's just the colour they are; I was trying to describe the shade of yellow they are and the shade reminds me of white that's been heavily stained by tobacco.....I can see how I mislead you though!

Sorry. I doubt that any tile paint is going to stand up to that sort of treatment. I think you'll have to replace them.
