Wet room / Steam room pros and cons

Hi all, I am refitting my bathroom with a wet room area that will be 155cm x 110cm.

It will have a tiled bench in it and someone suggested that I could make it into a steam room as well. As long as I have the glass shower screens floor to ceiling it would hold in the steam quite nicely and it won't matter if moisture gets all around it as it will be a wet room.

I am toying with the idea but have never done this before. I will have someone fit it for me but just interested in hearing pros and cons of doing this. Obviously it will cost a bit extra and the other pro's I am sold on just interested to hear what downsides there may be to doing this?
