The original one "English cooking" was a very popular thread for general chat, with a heavy emphasis on food. But last night the OP got banned from it.

The "Best cooking thread" replaced it, but very quickly went seriously off topic and got locked.

I started British cooking to fill that void. But Nwgs started I love cooking at exactly the same moment. I asked for mine to be put out of its misery and it has been locked.

Best cooking has now been cleaned up and unlocked.
