What a disaster

Hi anyone and everyone.

Like a typical DIY dunce off I went and bought tiles and adhesive from Wickes for my kitchen floor. I bought a big tub of ready mixed adhesive and grout I know more expensive but easier.

Anyway three quarters of the way thru tiling I have noticed that the tiles are porcelain and the adhesive says its not suitable for porcelain.

Before you say it yes I was a thicko I know that but the tiles I have laid have stuck and are not loose in anyway even if I try to lever one up. Will this be ok do you think as I hardly want to take the lot up again. Its a concrete floor by the way and the only thing I noticed was that it took ages to dry.

Any advice gratefully received

The adhesive will still stick, just not as well as if you had used the right stuff.
Ready mix always takes longer to go off.

Not unless the tiles come loose - but I don't think that likely.
