I would imagine if banksey drew on the wall, the chinese would probably make it into a protected wall and not allow it to be knocked down and not developed on. Just a hunch but the chinese are funny like that.

That's right. Part of the wall has cladding. In the 70s it was the rage, as it was in the north of England.

There was a programme on channel 5 about removing the cladding. Unfortunately the glue looked worse then the cladding.

I bet Banksey could make it look better. Probably cheaper than having a builder remove the glue too.
