What backer board for toilet frame

Hi,

I’m currently fitting a new bathroom and sure what to cover the geberit toilet frame with ready for tiling. The install guide for the frame suggests 2 layers of 12.5mm board.

Would I be ok to use 1 layer of 12.5mm aquapanel or other cement board instead? I’ll be tiling over it with porcelain tiles.

Any cementitious backer board would work.
