Had a look. Still no luck. Was wondering what i can do. How easy is it to change the mechanism to a new mechanism?

You reckon as a quick fix i can just get a small metal bracket and fix it together

I have never seen one completely fail before.

Perhaps remove the draw front completely (as suggested by @foxhole ). Most of the time you need to insert a flat head screwdriver into a slot to release the mechanism (read: release the drawer front).

I am only guessing, but I suspect that if you wind the nylon screw plug in the part connected to the drawer front, it will enable the drawer front component to engage properly. They enable the drawer front to move left and right. If the screw is projecting too much, it can stop the drawer front fitting engaging properly.

I don't recognise your particular set up though.

It has failed. When I took the front off theres like a hook type mechanism that appears broken (part broken compared to the other side)

Might just use some angle brackets on the inside for a quick fix lol

Fair enough.

It will be difficult to screw into the drawer runner side though. You might, possibly, want to use self tapping screws to cut into the thin metal walls.

Sorted it this morning with the smallest angled bracket I could find at screwfix screwed into the drawer front and the bottom part which was also wood. Its good enough lol. Just need to grind off the bracket slightly as its protruding and scraping the drawer below.
