What can I do about this drain? (crap builders)

Hello all,

Does anyone have any recommendations as to what I can do with this drain? Its raised and on the **** so looks awful.

Yes it is expanding foam. The cover was smashed so it just a temporary fix.

I think it's the drainage from the gutters?

It's still a rodding point, and if you unscrew the cover you'll get access to the drain run, which may prove dead handy!
Can you get rid of the grass and see where the eye is secured into?

Who used foam filler? you or the builder

I did to plug the hole in the lid. The crap builder was referring to the fact that its not level and is too high

Couldn't you just have replaced with a similar lid rather than using the foam?

I had a can open as I was using it for something else. I don't just want a new cover I need to lower/square it up.

What's the obsession with expanding foam on here?

Lol - it looks ugly and is always the quick fox of choice. Have to admit to using it near to repair plaster board which made it look rubbish.
