What can I do with this floor?

Steve, Hi again.

Been working away so I have lost the thread.

Does your damaged floor rise in the middle? that is is there a visible, obvious upward bump? if so then that is a classic example of Sulphate attack?

Do you live in what was once a mining community?

How do I find out for sure? Its in Swinton, in the dearne valley, south yorkshire, where about 95% of all the country's coal once came from. So yes.

If it is sulphate attack will it need digging up to rectify?
