Passed my test in 1970 in an almost new HB Viva.

Lambretta J125 scooter passed second attempt.
Thames 10/12 cwt ex WD ambulance converted into a workshop. Failed, gears jammed halfway through test.
Mini passed.
Also drove on L plates Landrover series II.
Bedford TM class II passed.

1956 Triumph Tiger Cub.
Still got it.

Passed motorbike test on a 250 Suzuki super six.
Learned to drive in a 1967 mini cooper, also drove the firms Thames 400e van with 3 speed column change!

I had one of those, it drove/felt like a kwality car at the time.

Same here. Felt a cut above the usual Escorts and Chevettes that everyone else had. Did let me down badly when the big ends went on the M5 in the small hours.

Passed bike test on a Suzuki TS125 trials type bike and chopped it in for a Honda 250N Wet Dream soon after.

Old Man taught me the basics in his Montego then I had some lessons and passed my car test in a diesel Peugeot 205.
