Hi, just had these tiles installed and the backsplash is a speckled black. What colour silicone should I use, black or light grey to match the tiles?

Think I'd be inclined to go with a grey to match the 'mortar colour' on the tiles, or perhaps slightly darker.

FYI in case you don't know you can get lots of different shades of grey (or whatever colour) than is available from the likes of Toolstation/B&Q or your fitter is likely to have immediately available in case he's steering you towards a limited choice of two or three!

Close colour match to splashback , but getting a clean edge against brick is not simple, clear silicon is less obvious.

Definitely clear or black. would not match the grouting as the grey contrast on the splashback would not look good.

Some of the Cuts left bigger gaps, do you think clear might not hide it that well?

you could try translucent... to hide that a little.. but on second thought.. with the gap.. I would probably prefer black in that case. Once it's dry it will have a similar sheen/look as the spashback/backsplash.

Curved ball time :-
Black and Grey !!I

You'll need black silicone anyway to do the join between your worktop and the bottom of the upstand.

I'd go for grey GROUT on the top of the upstand for 2 reasons:
1. As @foxhole pointed out - you're not going to get a crisp sharp silicone line along those tiles,
2. The colour has to be either the exact shade of the tile, or the grout. As you already have the grout, ( and therefore the colour) why not just use that ?

P.s. Is there a reason the first row of tiles along the Upstand are all cut ?

The tiles are cut there because the whole wall was done and needed the right cuts at the plug points
