have been using ideal logic 35 combi, connected to lpg supply for 3 weeks
its been howling like mad every time fired up gas fitter told me it was air in the system. just rang logic who informed me it was wrong boiler could we have been hurt.......

R U saying the installer has fitted a NG boiler onto a LPG supply ?, is the installer Gassafe reg ?

I have seen it done a couple of times , but not on pre-mix type burners (ideal logic ) on the 2 combis I saw they did a chernobale (?) went into melt down :) One of the blokes concerned eg the installer actually took it back to the merchants attempting to get a refund :)

I assume converting a logic to lpg is pretty much the same as alot of pre mix burners ,J&S u put there lpg conversion kit on , which consists of a brass washer !

As to were u in any danger ?

must admit installing NG boiler on LPG & than walking away ?? well er ??
no comment !!!!!

logic dont do a conversion kit for this model ng only, Ive switched it off
the company that supplied and installed the boiler are contacting me on monday to arrange replacement should I refuse and report to gas safe or
just let them put it right

thanks guys..

as far as i know the logic dont do an lpg version. if i were you id look on the gassafe reg to see if there qualified to work on lpg. pretty shocking this has been done.

report report report! Total cowboy install, no way it has even had an FGA waved at it....

do not let them get away this, they could of killed you and your family
