Hi ive just bought a new house and its armed with an accenta alarm (dont know the model sorry but ive got a feeling its an old one). When viewing the house the previous owner told me the alarm deosnt work. However now ive had a closer look the alarm panel is active and the microwave sensors blink now and again. I was given no code or manuals and dont know what to do. I need an alarm and was thinking of getting a new one of some kind. This one seems to have been hardwired in and i dont want to spend hundreds of pounds if there is some way of getting this one back in action. What do i do? Could i salvage the existing wiring for a new alarm? some helpful advice would be appreciated greatly.

thanks in advance

You can use any make of panel you want.

How many zones does your system have?

The Scantronic 9448 panel Joe-90 mentioned will only support 3 normal zones, plus an entry exit zone.

I like Texecom stuff, but then Breezer already told you that

er, no, try 7 zones

The 9448 has 4 zones

The 9448+ it would seem does have 7 zones, but that is not what joe said.

The 9448 is obsolete so had to be 9448+
