What goes here? Window

Hi,

I am stripping a room ready to be plastered.

There is a gap between the window and the wall, is this normal? What is normally done here should it just be silicon after plastering or does this need a beading?

Looking at the gap size, silicon will suffice.

Most will be full of plaster by the time it's finished.
