I wish to insulate under my timber floor. Joists are about 30cm, but all a little different. I am after the EASIEST solution, although if easiest is also cheapest, great!
So, thinking of the netting + some sort of loftroll stuff. But, if 50mm insulation board would be easier, then I'd go for that. #confused
also, see the thread about flooring ... again, want the easier option. I have about 2 1/2 weeks to make some new holes for airbricks, replacing the rotten old joists, paint all wood with preservation stuff (recomendations?), removing about a million rusty nails, updating pipe lagging, insulating between joists, putting down new floor, putting up some plasterboard, stripping wallpaper on other walls, decorating, putting new carpet in.
All in spare time + 2 weekends...
So, it's gotta be easy and quick!
