I am discussing replacing the external door where the wired glass has been cracked ( by what looks like a 10-12 y.o. boy who ran across the road with a stone or something in his hand, broke the glass and immediately ran back )

Can anyone suggest a model of door which would suit replacement of a 2053mm x 855mm door available at a reasonable price from B&Q or Howdens etc?

Depending on what you mean by 'at a reasonable price' you'll likely be compromising to a certain degree on the overall robustness of the door.

Others on here will know more than me. Solid oak doors appear to be one of the best in terms of robustness, however they come at a price. The likes of Howdens offer external doors with engineered wood cores. These may well suit your needs and will be cheaper. It all depends on your exact requirements, do you want glazed etc.
